Kalonzo Is Not NASA's Flag Bearer- Opposition

The four opposition leaders of the National Super Alliance (NASA) signed a new deal on Wednesday, February 22 ahead of the August polls but failed to name the flag-bearer.

A document purported to be one of the NASA's confidential agreements and making rounds on social media indicates Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka as the flag-bearer and CORD Leader Raila Odinga as the Prime Minister.

ODM Director of Communication, Phillip Etale has denied the legitimacy of the document saying the information is wrong.

"For purposes of clarity, the NASA flag-bearer has not been announced. Anything doing rounds on social media is just speculation." he wrote on Twitter.

Dennis Onyango, Raila Odinga's spokesman also asked Kenyans to ignore the document saying it isn't legitimate since the alliance does not have a letter head or a logo at the moment.

"Ignore this rubbish. All NASA documents are signed by all the 12 members of the National Coordinating Committee and not by James Orengo alone. As things stand today, NASA has no letter head or logo, contrary to what appears here. We however understand that desperate times will continue attracting desperate measures from Jubilee."
