Kidum’s Sweet Act Of Comfort To Big Kev Will Move You
Big Kev is a popular person in the Kenyan entertainment industry. He is known by many for his charismatic nature.
However, he has had a tough fight with brain tumor for the last six years.
The condition worsened mid last year when he was unexpectedly hospitalized after having a seizure attack and he became blind four months later.
In Jan 2017, the entire Kenyan entertainment fraternity came together to raise Ksh 20 million for Big Kev’s operation which is set to happen soon.
Local tabloid reports that there will be a dinner meeting held at Carnivore this week Friday to start the process and later the public will be included in the plan.
Jean Pierre Nimbona popularly known as Kidum honored a request made by Big Kev by visiting him in hospital and serenading him one of his jams dubbed Nipe Nguvu.
Kidum revealed this in a Facebook post and even shared a video singing to the ailing event’s organizer.
"Big Kev on his bed in Nairobi hospital told his family members that he would want to meet me before he is taken to a surgery! First was Bruce Odhiambo who told me about a concert in carnivore about raising the funds for our friend Big Kev on this Friday but today Thursday everyone was calling me about the message Big Kev wanted to give me on his hospital bed. I couldn’t hold my tears after he spoke to me. God has spoken to me through him. He requested this song Nipe Nguvu." Wrote Kidum.
