Duale endorses Raila Odinga for NASA flag bearer

In a fresh twist, Aden Duale who is always critical of opposition leader Rails Odinga has endorsed him as the one best placed to be NASA's flag-bearer.

Duale who was speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, March 21 as he introduced the debate on the President's State of the Nation Address urged the alliance to settle on Raila Odinga.

“I humbly ask, don’t take us round, don’t call too many press conferences, we know who among the pack who is ahead," he said.

He went on to state the qualifications which make Raila the one who is best suited to be NASA's flag bearer among the four principals.

"I have worked with him, he has the numbers, he has the resources, he has the think tank, he has been tested, he has been the Prime Minister, give it to Raila Odinga,” he declared.

The alliance is yet to settle on a presidential candidate amidst claims that there is disquiet in the coalition over the flag-bearer.

Reports indicate the committee tasked with developing a scheme on how to choose the flag-bearer wants the four to agree among themselves who should fly the NASA flag.
